Father Michael McMahon

Father Michael McMahon is the fourth of the five children of James and Alice McMahon, and grew up in West Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Yale University in 1989, earning honors and distinction in his major of political science. After his ordination to the priesthood in 1996, Father was named director of the Saint Bernard Minor Seminary in Quezon City, Philippines. From 1999-2005, he served as director of academics at Saint Joseph's Academy in Richmond, Michigan. He has been the Headmaster of Notre Dame de La Salette since the school's inception.

Mr. William Boyer
Music, schola, piano / organ teacher
William Boyer hails from St. Louis, Missouri. A home school graduate, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in piano performance at St. Louis University in 2009. Formerly an organist and choir director at St. Mary's Assumption in St. Louis, Mr. Boyer has taught music both privately and at the local SSPX school, Queen of the Holy Rosary Academy. He has sung and directed in various choirs, including the St. Louis University Mastersingers.

Mr. John D. Matthews
Latin, Algebra I
Born in 1983 into a Protestant family in Clarksville, TN, Mr. Matthews received all his primary and secondary instruction, including four years of Latin, in the local public school. He then went on to college at Tennessee Technological University, where he graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Computer Engineering and Physics. During the course of his university studies he converted to the Catholic faith, and was conditionally baptized September 4, 2004. After graduating from college, he worked for a year on a computer simulation for aerial warfare. After paying off his debts, he went to Avrille, France, to try his vocation with the traditional Dominicans. After two years, his superiors discerned that he did not have a vocation, so he returned to the United States.

Mr. Peter Bourbeau

Mr. Peter Bourbeau was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the second of eleven children.  He graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1998.  After attending Anoka Ramsey Community College, he moved on to the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Art.  Mr. Bourbeau returned to St. Joseph's as a teacher and moved with the school when it became La Salette.  He is married to the former Annie Underhill of Grand Rapids, Michigan and they have two children.

Mr. Douglas Dean

Mr. Douglas Dean was born and raised in Armada, Michigan. A home school graduate, he earned a degree in electronic engineering technology. He began his career in the welding industry, and later became certified in reflexology and herbology. From 2003-2005, Mr. Dean taught math and science for the Saint Joseph's Academy in Richmond, Michigan. He is married to the former Lindsey Kaercher of Avoca, Michigan.  They have seven children.

Mr. Joshua Hayes
History, Literature, Geometry, Government, Wrestling, Rugby Coach
A native of eastern North Carolina, Joshua Hayes studied at the United Stated Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in English.  After serving onboard two surface ships in Norfolk, Virginia, he was transferred to a training command in Virginia Beach and began his graduate education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.  He completed his Master of Arts degree in English Literature in 2004.  Since January of 2005, Mr. Hayes has taught rhetoric at Danville Area Community College, Illinois.  He is married to the former Miss Heidi Henning of Greenville, Michigan.  They have four children.

Mr. Joseph Tardiff

Joseph Tardiff was born in Livermore, California, and grew up in Post Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Arts in classics in 2003, and then studied early Christianity at the University of Notre Dame, where he obtained a Master of Arts degree in 2006.
